Creating a Website using
Local:
· Download and install Local
· Click on Create a new site
- · Write your website name and click on continue
- · Choose as environment as Preferred and Continue
- · Setup WordPress, Write your user name, password
and email. Then click on add site.
- · It will process for few seconds and give
required permissions if asked
- · We can start or stop our site from upper right
corner option
- · Then click on admin to go to your site in editing mode
- · Login on WordPress using user name and password
- · Finally, you reached to your website in editing mode.
- There you install themes, plugins and do much more things.
Themes in WordPress:
A theme is
a collection of templates and stylesheets used to define the appearance and
display of a WordPress powered
website.
Installing Themes In WordPress:
- · Click on Appearance » Themes. Then click on add new.
- · Search Astra and click on install and
then click activate
- · Click on Get Started then it will activate automatically
Installing Plugins:
- · Under Plugins click on Add New
- · Search Astra Starter Sites and click on
install as shown in below screenshot.
- · Then click on Activate
- · Under Appearance click on Starter
Templates. Then select Elementor.
- · Select the website of your choice. I’ve chosen Outdoor
Adventure.
- · Then click on Import Full Site.
- · Then again click on Import in next pop
up window.
- · It will take only few days, then click on view
site.
